CELEBRATE RINGO STARR’S BIRTHDAY WITH PEACE & LOVE

The public is invited to attend Ringo Starr's annual Peace and Love Birthday Celebration on the grounds of Daemen University, 4380 Main Street, Amherst, NY. The event begins at 11:30 AM in the recently created park, which features an Honorary International Peace & Love Garden and the Ringo Peace & Love Statue. The event is to run for 45 minutes and end at 12:15 PM.

Local musicians will be on hand for a Ringo/Beatles jam sing-along leading up to a countdown to noon, at which time attendees will wish Ringo and the world #PeaceandLove.

The gathering will be videoed and streamed on Ringo's official Facebook page.

This is a FREE event.

Ringo’s birthday wish was born from his lifelong commitment to promoting Peace and Love. His simple request is for people to take a moment at noon on July 7th, wherever they are in the world, to wish those around them peace and love. If it is impracticable, do it through thought, prayer, or social media—the sparks of this positive message will travel across the world.

The placement of a Ringo Peace & Love Statue in Buffalo, NY is a testament to the city's commitment to these values. Carolyn and John Yurtchuk generously gifted the statue and a newly created park to Daemen University in November 2023. The statue stands proudly in an Honorary International Peace Garden on the park grounds.
